Kim Hardy and Catrina Farnell teach Wheelchair Ballet at prestigious dance companies in and around the Leeds area. Catrina was a dancer prior to becoming disabled in 2012. Despite thinking she was now excluded from dance because of her disability and changing body type, she eventually found her way to dance again and has flourished since working with Kim Hardy. Together they will be performing a dance piece called, Paralysed? It’s a performance about what is to be human, what is to be disabled, what it feels like to need help physically and/or emotionally, and ultimately it’s the celebration of the beauty of friendship and connection.
